On June 22, 2013, the family of Bradley S. Blake adopted several highways in his memory. Volunteers including family members and environmentally-conscious friends adopted three highways in Berkeley County. The highways are: Greentown Road in Alvin, Mendel Rivers Road in St. Stephen, and Highway 52, starting at Good Sheppard R.E. Church, in the Forty-One section of St. Stephen.
We are asking environmentally-conscious volunteers to assist with our upcoming litter pickups. Safety materials will be provided along with refreshments. If you are willing to make a personal commitment to a cleaner environment, please contact Louis or Sylvia Blake at 843-567-6964 or 843-209-0463.
The next highway clean up will be September 13, 2014. We hope you will volunteer to help us out.
