BSB Safe Haven Support Group

The effects of homicide are far-reaching. The Bradley Blake Foundation’s BSB Safe Haven Support Group provides comfort and aid to surviving family members, friends and co-workers of homicide victims. This group will accept any person affected by a violent death regardless of location. Parents are encouraged to bring their children who may have been directly or indirectly affected by homicide. There will be a therapist to assist adults and children. This support group meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.

Interested persons may call Sylvia Blake, at 843-209-0463 or 843-567-6964.

Bradley Blake Memorial Scholarship

The Bradley Blake Memorial Scholarship is awarded to deserving recipients in our community. We have awarded 17 $500 scholarships at Berkeley High, Cross High and Timberland High.

Adopt-A-Highway

On June 22, 2013, the family of Bradley S. Blake adopted several highways in his memory. Volunteers including family members and environmentally-conscious friends adopted three highways in Berkeley County. The highways are Greentown Road in Alvin, Mendel Rivers Road in St. Stephen, and Highway 52, starting at Good Sheppard R.E. Church, in the Forty-One section of St. Stephen.

We are asking environmentally-conscious volunteers to assist with our upcoming litter pickups. Safety materials will be provided along with refreshments. If you are willing to make a personal commitment to a cleaner environment, please contact Louis or Sylvia Blake at 843-567-6964 or 843-209-0463.

We hope you will volunteer to help us out.

Annual Tri-County Orange Walk

Each year, the Bradley Blake Foundation partners with the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, Goose Creek Police Department and Town of Moncks Corner Police Department to host our Annual Tri-County Orange Walk. As we walk together, our goal is to spread awareness on gun violence in South Carolina. Aside from the walk itself, the event includes motivational speakers, food vendors and activities for families to enjoy. Through the Annual Tri-County Orange Walk, we hope to take one step closer to a world void of gun violence.
